LAPL(A)-LIGHT AIRCRAFT PILOT'S LICENSE
The LAPL(A) is a new type of pilot license developed by the EASA, which entitles the holder to carry out commercial operations on single-engine piston aircrafts with maximum takeoff weight not exceeding 2000 kg. Practical training consists of 30h of flights.

Prerequisites:
Candidates need to be at least 16 years of age when beginning training and at leats 17 years of age when applying for a license. Approproate medical certification is required.
Course of training:
Training includes 100h of theory and a minimum of 30 flight hours. After the course, the candidate needs to take a theoretical state exam at the CAA followed by a practical exam with a CAA approved examiner.
